The Nando's Tens festival has become a great event in the South East and the third annual Nando's Tens at Cobham Rugby is set for Sunday 13th April 2008.

Format:

Four teams competing in each of four different age groups (U13, U14, U15 and U16).

The teams participating in the competition are as follows:

U16: Cobham, Warlingham, Chipstead, Dorking

U15: Cobham, Ashford, Newbury*, Crowborough
U14: Cobham, Old Reedonians, Ealing, Haywards Heath U13: Cobham, Old Reedonians, Croydon, Rosslyn Park

(* London Scottisdh have pulled out and been replaced by Newbury)

Each team will compete in a round robin stage followed by a cup final and a plate final so each team will play four games on the day.  

Round robin games will 10 minutes per half with a 2 minute interval at half time. 

Finals will be 12 minutes per half.

Players restricted to 17 per team.

All players must be registered prior to the competition starting (click here for registration form)

Coaches must be in a position to prove the ages of their players if requested.

Timing:

The playing schedule will be provided on the day

Matches start at 10.30am.

Please arrive in good time to register and warm up

Parking:

Parking will be at Munro House next to the club which will be clearly sign-posted.  details here Please do not park on Fairmile Lane - you'll get done by the constabulary and it hacks off our neighbours.

£5 per car parking fee will be charged, which will include a programme and a FREE Nando’s meal

No parking space will be available at the club itself.

Four free parking vouchers will be provided for coaches.

Dogs - please don't bring dogs on the grounds.

First Aid:

Although we will be providing three physios on site and the St. John’s Ambulance will be in attendance please ensure you have suitably trained first aiders in your party.

Catering:

Nando’s will be on site supplying their fantastic grilled peri-peri chicken from 10am.

Breakfast catering will available for early arrivals.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, Nando's, participating teams will receive a Nando’s voucher for each player for use on the day, and a free commemorative Nando’s tee shirt.

We plan to have a celebrity guest to present the awards and his or her identity will be revealed nearer the date.

As you will all be aware there are sometimes circumstances beyond our control (the weather and /or pitch conditions for example) which may lead to the adjustment of the format of the competition. If this becomes necessary we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible.

It will be a great way to end the season so try to bring along as many supporters as possible to enjoy the tournament
