Chobham C Festival – 17 February 2008

The lads put on a very encouraging display at Chobham.

With the ball in hand they were excellent but other teams were more aggressive with their tagging – the offside line is well respected by our boys but is not always rigorously defended by referees….(Moral question – do we teach the boys to respect the rules or “play” them?) 

We only won one out of our five matches, but drew another and only lost the one match by more than two tries, with a little more luck we could have had a podium finish!

Great support from parents – thank you – and on a personal note I would like to add that all the Cobham players were a pleasure to deal with.
