Shoreham 0 v Cobham 25
Cobham took a large 1st XV squad made up with a mix of experience and youth to the coast last Saturday, 21st August.
Of the 32 players, 10 made their debuts for Cobham including number of Cobham's younger brigade, Joe Goddard, Sam Yates, Ollie Scott and Alex Orchard.
There were 5 tries scored, the first 3 from youngsters, Wingers Charlie Rooke and James Macdonald and debutant Centre Alex Orchard playing along side Captain for the weekend Disco (David MacCallum). The final 2 tries coming from senior players Nick Sutton & Chris Moreton.
To Shoreham's credit they battled bravely and never gave in against a more experienced and youthful Cobham squad.
A good tour was had by all with all players giving Billy Davison and the senior management plenty to think about before the 1st League match away at Tunbridge Wells on 4th September.
The next match for 1st XV squad is away at Staines RFC on Thursday 26th August, 7.45pm Kick Off.
