New 1st XV Captain

Director of Rugby, Billy Davison is delighted to announce the appointment of Doug Rodman as 1st XV Captain for the 12-13 season. 

Billy said: “This is great news for the club that Doug is to be Captain this season. He brings a dynamic style of leadership to the whole squad and I look forward to some really enjoyable rugby.”

Upon his appointment Doug said:

"I was delighted when I was asked to captain the side for the upcoming season, it's a huge honour! 

It's a really exciting time for the club, both on and off the field. On the playing side, we've had a positive start to pre-season training with plenty of young talent mixed in with all of the familiar faces. We're all eager to start using the new Covenham training facilities and are keen to reap the benefits.

Personally, I can't wait to be involved on the pitch and help to build on the work from last season, continuing to play a brand of entertaining, winning rugby!"
