We look forward to welcoming all U12s to another season at Cobham Rugby Club, our last year in the minis' section.
Our aim is to give all the boys the opportunity to develop their skills in the game in a fun and friendly environment. This will include playing competitive matches at various ability levels. The culmination of the season will be the Surrey County Championships played in April 2012. This is a highlight for the boys and this year will determine our position in the U13 league next season as the boys enter into Youth. In addition the boys will be going on the Club Tour to Brean Sands on the first May bank holiday weekend, 4th to 7th May 2012. We hope to accommodate as many boys as possible as this will be the last Mini's tour for the boys and in some cases the parents, to Pontins Holiday Camp!
This year there will be an additional player on the pitch with 13 on the field. This will mean an increase in the squad size that we take to each festival.
We will also be running several social events for parents and boys. The highlight will be to round off the season with a special Gala dinner for ALL parents and boys to be held on Friday 16th March at the Club to celebrate our transition from Mini's to Youth - please keep the date free.
