What should have been a 6 team league ended in a 5 team league with one of the teams made up of 2 part teams!

The league style dictated that we essentially were the league outright winners, however we were offered the option of playing the 2nd place team and putting our already won Trophy up for grabs again!!! - what would you do..................
Well, the boys were more up for it than the parents, but only just - I think the parents would have rather taken the win and trophy then and there, however both Ian and I convinced or ‘motivated’ the boys into one last game, particularly given the Surrey C’s is around the corner
We played a more determined ‘nothing to lose’ Drifters Team again, but ran out quite comfortably as 2 – 0 winners
An excellent performance all round, great tackling, hustling and generally playing good quality rugby and great to see so many boys on the score sheet. Everyone acquitted themselves very well today and as a name check, these were
