U15 YOUTH RUGBY
Welcome to Cobham U15s web pages.
This season we intend to build upon the past successes of the squad. The U15 A team will start the 2007/2008 as Surrey Division One Champions for the fourth successive year. In addition, following back to back promotions, our Development (B) team will be competing in Division Two of the Surrey Leagues which is a testament to the strength in depth that we have within the squad.

Apart from the county leagues, the squad won the Nando’s 10s tournament in April beating a strong Newbury side in the final. An archive of last years results is available through the link 'Fixtures & Reports'.
We are fortunate enough to have a great squad of players and very supportive parents. On the playing side, we aim for players to improve and develop their rugby skills through Sunday morning training sessions and regular fixtures against clubs and county champions from the South of England, not just the Surrey leagues. We have a strong representation from a wide variety of local schools and aim to create an environment where players get to make friends and enjoy the sport of rugby. Each year we organise an annual tour to further develop these friendships. This year is no different other than we are planning a tour to South Africa to challenge the squad against the Boks.
We also try and work closely with schools towards County selection and to avoid situations where players overplay and damage their long term development.
Above all else we want the boys to have fun. And the parents do too, it has to be said – and we are all aware that we’re ambassadors for Cobham Rugby.
For those opposition teams reading this site, you will be assured of tough rugby combined with a warm welcome off the field.
