U5 MINI RUGBY
News - Updated 25 April 08
Hi Guys,
A fantastic turnout this week – 40 altogether – tremendous!!
Darren was a marvel, and the enormous number of children didn’t seem to bother him in the slightest, in fact he was very impressed when he asked the children to run and pass at the same time ( he couldn’t have seen the group that was nearest me, Toby’s Dad was in despair as Bryn was determined not to pass the ball and just score tries – what was that I overheard you say about the Welsh Mark???? ).
Our last ‘Fantastic Fives’ of the season were awarded to those children who have turned up rain or shine or snow or sleet or ….. anyway a brilliant effort – well done!!
Toby Racket William Loughlin Julia Hind Theo Cosmas George Armstrong Zack Allen Drew Grobler William Brown
And of course those two boys who really don’t have much say in the matter,
Emilio Clarke and Brynmor Bradley
Thanks also go to Cossy ( Theo’s Dad ) and Melanie (Julia’s Mum) for stewarding the clubhouse and representing the Under 5s brilliantly!
And so, to the last training session of the season, Fun Day!!!
We hope to see as many of you there as possible – he still hasn’t told me what he’s planning – but I’m sure it will be fun!?!
Remember to jazz up your hair ( or not hey Darren ) and make it as crazy as you can – there will be a prize for the wildest style!!
Be prepared for custard pie throwing particularly at those coaches and Dads who made us do all those muddy drills throughout the season.
Don’t forget to bring your camera, and if you mange to capture some ‘ eventful moments ‘ please let me have them and we can post them on our page on the clubs website.
There's a lunch going on this Sunday at the newly opened clubhouse restaurant and you are more than welcome to book. Please click here for further information and booking details. Me and Brynmor will be there, though quite what a 5 year old will make of a cinammon meringue remains to be seen.
So, see you bright and early ready for a 10 o’clock start and if you’ve promised me your £10 this Sunday please don’t forget to bring it,
Karen
