Cobham 'B' Festival U8 Match Report - 08 October 2006

Cobham 'B' team were victorious in the Cobham 'B' festival on a beautiful sunny October day.

On the way to the final they were unbeaten, winning against Teddington 5-2 and Old Reedonians 6-0 in the round robin before beating Guildford 4-2 in the semi-final. The first half of the final against Chobham started off as a closely contested match before Cobham rose to the occasion growing ever stronger as a team and winning a convincing 6-3 to take the tournament.

There were some magnificent performances by all players, notably William Stephen who's finding great form, Jack Simpson who was praised for his supporting play, James 'Rhino' Cobb scoring 3 tries in the game against Old Reedonians and George Elliston with four tries in the final.
