Hi Guys

Hopefully you have all recovered from the miserably wet and muddy day experienced at the Oman 10’s festival and the Twickenham B game. Certainly a day where our washing machines were over used!  All the boys played well on their last day of rugby and should be very proud of themselves for persevering in such awful weather conditions.    Please look on the website for a link to photos from the Oman 10's by Scrumpix - there are some good ones of our boys!

Last week we finished our Sunday sessions with some of the boys enjoying a afternoon of paintballing.  Thankfully the weather was much kinder to us although it was quite cold for those not participating but at least the boys had great fun.

To finish off the season we have our Awards Evening Dinner next Friday 18^th May which hopes to be a fabulous evening.

Please remind the boys to vote for their 1st & 2nd choice players player of the season for A’s and B’s. Send your vote via email to Tony Balkwill @ thebalkwills@btinternet.com  by Sunday 13^th May please.

Friday 18th May - Please arrive for 7.30pm to be seated for a 3 course dinner at 8.00pm

Dress Code for the evening:

Boys – Black trousers and shoes, white shirts and either a Cobham club tie or school tie.  No jackets required.

Dads – Dark jacket and trousers, white shirts and tie – Cobham club tie if you have one.

Ladies – The choice is yours, obviously no jeans but smart casual.

The cost for evening is £20 per head.  Please ensure you bring either cash or a cheque made payable to the club on the night which will be collected by Mel on your entrance.

If you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, or you are unable to attend please inform us immediately.

At the bottom of this email is the list of attendees for the evening.  If your name is/ is not included – please email us before Sunday.

For everyone unable to attend the evening, there is still chance to catch up with everyone out of season at the Manhattan Summer Ball on June 16^th.  This is always a spectactular evening and an opportunity to get dressed up at the club for a change. Tickets/tables are still available but going fast.  Please see the website for details.

Finally this will not be our last email of the season – we will be in contact through out the summer informing you of various events happening at the club - but we would like to say thankyou to all our wonderful boys and parents who have helped and supported us through this rather stressful season.

•    Check and respond promptly to all clarion call emails to both Managers.
•    Confirm availability in advance and  honour commitment
•    Arrive on time - especially allowing  enough time for away games
•    Support our stance on player discipline
•    Be a willing volunteer  as per club rules
•    Parents consider undertaking Coaching qualification
•    Consider Referee courses/first aid course
•    Park considerately and correctly as per instructions given
•    NO dogs at the club - on the grounds or in the car
•    Take home all belongings and clear your own rubbish
•    Support all the boys
•    Refer to the website for information
•    Support the club by joining in social activities
